Quan (King) Nguyen is an undergraduate student in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and minoring in Computational Data Analysis. He has a great passion for data science and bioinformatics. He began working with the Weitz Group in 2020 designing the algorithms that estimate the risk scores of viral infections. Quan now works to which extend the tool into European and Asian countries. Quan is determined to become a world-class Data Scientist, and is currently looking for internships in Data Science and Bioinformatics so that he can gain more industry experience. When Quan is not working in data science, he enjoys playing soccer and badminton, and has even won several awards in the sports – feel free to invite him to play together! In his free time, he tries to learn more about programming or watches anime.
